Agendas & Minutes
Council Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at the Vanderhoof Municipal Office – 160 Connaught Street, Vanderhoof, BC. Meetings begin at 5:30PM. The public is welcome to attend all open meetings. Regular Meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of each month; Committee of the Whole Meetings are also held the third Monday of each month (some exceptions apply – see the monthly calendar below).
Meeting agendas are available at the Municipal Office the Friday afternoon before a scheduled meeting. You can also contact the Corporate Officer to be added to the email distribution list. Minutes and agendas can be found through the CivicWeb portal below.

Presenting to Council
Members of the public can present to Council at Regular Council Meetings, pending approval by the Corporate Officer. All requests to the Corporate Officer must be made in writing using the Delegation Request Form below. Please make sure to download the form before filling it out, then click “submit” at the bottom of the form and it will be automatically emailed to the Corporate Officer. You will be contacted by Staff to confirm your presentation date and time.
Additional Information on Council Meetings
Speaking at meetings: when you attend a Regular Council meeting and wish to make a comment on an agenda item, please raise your hand during the “Public Questions on Agenda Items” section of the agenda. This is the only opportunity during the meeting for public comments or questions.
Public Hearings: Public Hearings are a formal process held by Council to receive public input on Zoning or Official Community Plan amendments. In accordance with the Local Government Act, any person who believes that his or her interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw shall be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard. Public Hearings are advertised in the Omineca Express, posted on the District website and at the Municipal Office.
