The District of Vanderhoof hosts a number of acitivities for all members of the community. We are updating this section of our website continually, so please check back often for more information about what recreation activities are available in our community.

The District of Vanderhoof Recreation Department focuses on many recreational and leisure programs, specifically on youth programs that run in conjunction to school Pro D Days, Holidays and Summer Holidays. Beyond the youth programs the Recreation Department will also run programs ranging from Beach Volleyball leagues and tournaments to age specific programs such as Women's 55+ Sports activities, while promoting healthy living and sports groups and facilities in Vanderhoof.
The Recreation Department is available to assist in any new sports or program ideas, by way of contacts, promotion and information. Contact the Recreation Director for more information.
