About the Arena and Parks Department

The role of the Arena, Parks Manager is to oversee the operation and maintenance of both the ice arena, parks and trail system throughout the district. The Arena, Parks Manager prepares budgets (both operational and capital) schedules union staff, meets with various user groups to find out
their needs and tries to fulfill those needs.

Parks & Playgrounds

Vanderhoof is home to a number of parks and playgrounds for residents and visitors alike. The Municipality also operates a 38 site campground at Riverside Park, along the banks of the Nechako River. Learn more⇒
